Simon Street is an Australian born and trained Chiropractor specialising in Network Spinal and Compassionate Inquiry. Simon completed his Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Chiropractic in 2009, and a Graduate Diploma of Education in 2010. He has always been drawn to experientially investigate the relationship between mind and body. His passion for subtle-body work was ignited at a seminar in Melbourne in 2017, and he has been assisting people to deepen connection with their own vitality ever since. Simon connects with people in a unique way – expanding openness, safety, and connection in the body. He aims for clients not only to feel better, but also to become better at feeling – an invaluable skill for navigating life with presence.
Network Spinal is an evidence based Chiropractic approach to wellness and body awareness. Gentle and precise contacts to the spine cue the nervous system to create new wellness promoting strategies. Two unique healing waves develop that are associated with spontaneous release of spinal and life tensions, and the use of existing tension as fuel for spinal re-organisation and enhanced connection with life.
Compassionate Inquiry is a psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté that reveals what lies beneath the appearance we present to the world. Using Compassionate Inquiry, both the individual and therapist unveil the level of consciousness, mental climate, hidden assumptions, implicit memories and body states that form the real message that words both express and conceal. Through Compassionate Inquiry, the client can recognise the unconscious dynamics that run their lives and how to liberate themselves from them.
